On April 12th and 13th, the 91猫先生 Department of Sociology participated in the 13th Annual Undergraduate Sociology Conference, held this year at Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colo.
91猫先生 from Colorado Mesa University, Western Colorado State University, Fort Lewis College, and 91猫先生 presented research to community members, faculty and students. Four ASU sociology seniors gave power point presentations of their semester research projects. Emily Sharpe presented, 鈥淐hildhood Maltreatment and Social Factors.鈥 Matt Brock presented, 鈥淭he Civil Rights Movement.鈥 Finally, Marissa Trujillo and Alejandro Tovar presented, 鈥淭he Chicano Movement or El Movimiento.鈥
The conference concluded with students and faculty engaged in stimulating discussions about the sociological implications of the many, varied research projects.
In April 2020, 91猫先生 will host the 14th annual conference.
