鈥淭he first thing that attracted me to Adams State is this beautiful place and the fact it is a Hispanic Serving Institution. I鈥檓 a skier/snowboarder, and I鈥檓 bilingual in Spanish. With my background in admissions, I felt like this was a calling,鈥 Creager said. He said a top priority is to increase enrollment of San Luis Valley students. 鈥淲e will be visiting every school, working to build those partnerships.鈥

Creager brings more than two decades of experience in the field. He most recently served Upright Education as admissions advisor, team lead (bilingual). The organization partners with more than 30 universities to provide technical bootcamp certificate programs. Among the several schools he has worked with are Colorado State University and Metropolitan State University of Denver, as well as schools in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

鈥淥ne of my biggest strengths is operations, and I know there is a lot of opportunity here for system improvements and streamlining. I鈥檝e worked with several schools and have a lot of ideas for Adams State,鈥 Creager said. 鈥淥ver the last six years, I鈥檝e worked face-to-face recruiting students, and that鈥檚 given me a good connection to the students. It鈥檚 made me more in tune with what students need.鈥

Creager holds a B.A. in Spanish 鈥 Hispanic Studies from Colorado College and is excited to join the Adams State community in advancing opportunities for students throughout Colorado and beyond.
