Skye Montoya solos at Fall Choir Concert

The 91猫先生 Chamber and Concert Choirs will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in Richardson Hall Auditorium.

Chamber Choir will perform works by Palestrina, a Georgian drum dance, and Five Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Whitacre with violin and piano. Selections by Concert Choir include an excerpt from Vivaldi鈥檚 Gloria, a Zulu folk song, and the 鈥淜yrie鈥 from Memorial, written in response to the events of September 11, 2001, by Ren茅 Clausen.

ASU Assistant Choir Director and senior music education major, Skye Montoya, will direct Rollo Dilworth鈥檚 spiritual arrangement of 鈥淚 Sing Because I鈥檓 Happy鈥 with the combined choirs to end the performance.
