91猫先生 Homecoming takes over First Friday on October 3 in downtown Alamosa with pep rallies, music, dancing, pi帽atas and a bonfire on San Juan Ave. The fun, free carnival returns on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The 2025 Homecoming festivities begin Friday, Oct. 3, with an alumni award ceremony at 11:30 a.m. in Vistas Restaurant, followed by a reception at the Marvel House. Award recipients include April McClure 鈥90, Outstanding Alumna; Bryden Pelletier 鈥13, Exceptional New Alumnus; Lori Lee Laske 鈥91 鈥01, Billy Adams Award; and the newly established Family Tree Award, the Richard Gritz鈥64, 鈥66, Family. , or call 719-587-8110.
Adams State will make its presence known downtown during First Friday starting at 5 p.m. and ending when the last ember dies and the smoke clears from the bonfire. On Saturday, Oct. 4, the Homecoming Parade begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Alamosa; followed by the free carnival from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Richardson Hall lawn. The Grizzlies take on the Chadron State Eagles at 12 p.m. Saturday in Rex Stadium. Get in the spirit at the Tailgate, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Football Practice Field. Due to construction near Rex Stadium, free shuttle service will be available from the carnival to the game and the Student Union Building north parking lot will be designated for accessible parking only. .
Alumni and friends are welcome to attend a Farewell Breakfast from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 5, in Vistas Restaurant.
Throughout the week activities for students include a club fair, karaoke night, a petting zoo, and a showing of Wicked. Other home athletic events include volleyball on Tuesday and Friday, and men鈥檚 soccer on Friday.
Additional events include the Adams State Theatre production, 鈥淢isery,鈥 directed by John Taylor, Ph.D., at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 & 4; and a 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, Oct. 5.
