What do most college kids have in common? Stress. And leave it to several Adams State doctoral students to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals addressing that issue.

Elisabeth Tomlin鈥檚 article, 鈥淯sing Acudetox for Stress Reduction in College 91猫先生: A Brief Intervention Strategy for College Counselors,鈥 was published in the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health. She will receive her Ph.D. at the 2021 Graduate Commencement Ceremony on May 8.

Kayla M. Fruetel, Robert C. Duckworth, Suzanne L. Scott, and Erica N. Fenderson co-authored, 鈥淓xploring the Experiences of Counselors Responding to Crisis in Rural Communities,鈥 that was published in the American Psychological Association Journal of Rural Mental Health. They will finish their doctorates in 2022.
