We鈥檙e excited to share that the Project Success Emergency Aid Fund is officially back and ready to support students facing unexpected financial challenges. After a pause, a new application process and distribution method have been developed to ensure support is delivered in a way that is fair, efficient, and sustainable. The fund is designed to help with urgent, short-term financial needs so students can stay focused on their education.
What is the Project Success Emergency Aid聽
Emergency Aid is available for Adams State students and is designed to help students manage unforeseen financial emergencies that, if not quickly addressed, could jeopardize their ability to stay in school. 91猫先生 pursuing a college degree can sometimes be derailed by temporary financial challenges鈥攕uch as the loss of a job, an unexpected increase in rent, or transportation issues鈥攚hich may prevent them from completing their credential. Even seemingly small obstacles, like not having money for gas or replacing a stolen bicycle, can mean the difference between attending class or dropping out.
91猫先生 most often request funds for housing, followed by transportation, child care, and utilities. Emergency Aid grants provide up to $500 per student. By helping remove these barriers, Adams State aims to support student persistence and increase graduation rates.
Project Success Emergency Aid Requirements
This grant has 3 requirements:
- Must be an emergency and unforeseen situation.
- Must be a barrier to you continuing your education.
- Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
This funding is available only to on-campus undergraduate students. Documentation is required for all funding requests (i.e., required uninsured medical treatment, automotive repair estimate, documented notice of unexpected change in housing or utilities expense). This grant cannot be used for school expenses (balances owed to the school, tuition, fines, books/supplies, etc). This is a one-time grant available in an amount not to exceed $500.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) for eligible students can help a student buy groceries at authorized retailers. SNAP has been expanded to help more students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Emergency Broadband Benefit Program
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. 91猫先生 who received a Pell Grant in the 2020-21 school year may be eligible.
