International students are required to submit the following:

  1. Online application for admissions (applicant types international online or international on-campus): International Application for Admission
  2. Non-refundable $30 USD application fee (graduate only)
  3. Official transcript translation and credential evaluation is required for all international transcripts not in U.S. higher education standards. The Evaluation Company (TEC) (formerly SpanTran) is our recommended international transcript evaluation service. They have created a custom application for 91猫先生 will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate. You can access their application here: . If TEC is not used, official results of course-by-course evaluation which includes cumulative GPA must be completed by an independent credentials evaluation service that is a member of the organization to determine what U.S. equivalencies exist for grades, credit hours, and accreditation. Documents must be mailed directly from the evaluation agency. All information must be written in English and include the cumulative GPA. Payment for this service is the responsibility of the international student and any reissuing of documentation that does not follow the guidelines above.
  4. Proof of English proficiency, by completing at least one (1) bulleted requirement for all international student types:
    鈼 Residency from a country in which English is the primary/national language
    鈼 Duolingo English Test certified results showing a minimum score of 90 (undergraduate) or 105 (graduate)
    鈼 TOEFL score report directly from ETS showing a minimum TOEFL iBT exam score of 61 (undergraduate) or 80 (graduate). Photocopies will not be accepted. Test scores older than two (2) years from the date of application will not be accepted. 91猫先生鈥檚 TOEFL institution code is 4001. IELTS score report directly sent from IELTS showing a minimum exam score of 80 (graduates only).
    鈼 Official postsecondary transcript showing successful completion of an ESL program accredited by the Commission on English Language Programs (CEA)
    鈼 Official postsecondary transcript showing conferral of an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science from a U.S. community college
    鈼 Official high school transcript showing graduation from a U.S. high school that the applicant attended for at least two (2) years
    鈼 Official GED score report showing a passing score on the a U.S. General Education Development (GED) exam
    鈼 Official transcript from IGCSE showing a minimum grade of B in English on the University of Cambridge International Examination (IGCSE, A-Level, 0-Level)
    鈼 Official ACT score report showing a minimum ACT English sub-score of 18 or better
    鈼 Official SAT Score Report showing a minimum SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sub-score of 470 or higher
    鈼 Official transcript showing completion of two college-level English Language Composition courses comparable to Adams State’s ENG 101 and ENG 102 with a minimum grade of C at a U.S. college or university
  5. Verification of Financial Support/Financial Statement (documentation less than 3 months old from time of submission):
    International undergraduate students seeking F-1 visa and/or I-20 must provide financial certification showing the availabilities of $27,768 USD ($5,000 automatic Experience Colorado Scholarship included) or the equivalent in another currency. Affidavit of Support (I-134), recent bank statements, and/or scholarship awards are acceptable. Documents can and should be uploaded directly into the student’s application portal. International graduate students seeking F-1 visa and/or I-20, please contact graduatestudies@adams.edu concerning funds needed per graduate MBA/MS program as funds vary.
  6. Copy of Passport. Document can and should be uploaded directly into the student’s application portal for all students seeking F-1 visa and/or I-20.

International Enrollment Form

Once acceptance is determined, international students will be required to complete the International Enrollment Form before an I-20 is sent to the student. More information will be emailed directly to the student after acceptance from a PDSO/DSO.
