The Center for Teaching, Innovation, and Research offers design consultations to any office, unit, or department. Design consultations are individualized and collaborative partnerships that support the creation, redesign, or implementation of equitable learning environments.聽
Design consultations might include:

- Experiential learning and/or Place-Based Learning聽
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning聽
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming聽

- Implementing accessible, culturally relevant, and antiracist strategies聽
- Revision or refresh of a project, initiative, or course聽

Design consultations embrace the , which include (1) centering human experiences and identities, (2) identifying root problems through observation and research, (3) employing systems-level thinking, and (4) developing iterative feedback loops to improve the project.聽
